The music ministry follows the instruction of Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice!”
The several choirs which existed prior to the COVID pandemic were reformed into praise teams as smaller groups to minister in song for the Sunday services. Their music can be heard either on Facebook Live or on YouTube.
The mission of the music ministry is to support the body of Christ by leading the congregation in worship through music.
The music ministry consists of vocalists and musicians working together to lift up the name of our Lord in song. We serve the various services, conferences, and conventions at SOA and also when fellowshipping at other churches.
The music ministry holds an annual luncheon to celebrate those who have dedicated their time to this service.
Evangelist Cynthia M. Jones serves as Minister of Music at the Seed of Abraham Pentecostal Church (SOA), a position she has held since 2014.
Evangelist Jones began her journey in music ministry singing alto in 1985. In 1996 she began directing the Children’s Praise choir, and in 2009 was appointed over the Voices of Praise, Todah Vessels of Praise, and Mass choirs.
